Through persistence, strategic foresight, and a hands-on approach, Mr. Dushyant Rana steadily expanded the business across India, establishing a strong foundation and reputation in the chemical sector.

In 2011, his son, Krishna Dushyant Rana, joined the company, bringing a fresh perspective and a commitment to learning from his father’s extensive experience. Together, they combined expertise with innovation, laying the groundwork for what would become Platinum Industries’ most transformative phase.

About Platinum

In 2016, under the leadership of Krishna Dushyant Rana and Parul Krishna Rana, Platinum Industries took a bold leap; transforming itself from a trading company to a full-scale chemical manufacturing enterprise. This transition was driven by a clear and urgent insight: India’s PVC industry relied heavily on imported stabilizers, many of which were outdated, inefficient, or toxic, creating a critical gap in the market. Recognizing an opportunity to innovate and lead responsibly, Platinum Industries committed to producing safer, non-toxic calcium-zinc stabilizers at scale, designed to meet global standards and empower industries across the country and beyond. This shift was not just about manufacturing, it was about building a purpose-driven organization grounded in the core values of respect, resilience, growth mindset and relationships.

With production capacity now over 150 times its 2016 baseline, Platinum Industries has emerged as India’s leading – and among the first publicly listed -PVC stabilizer manufacturers, ranking as one of the largest players in the country by sales, according to CRISIL. Serving 30+ countries from its facility in Palghar, Maharashtra, the company’s fully automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing is backed by advanced R&D, enabling it to meet the most complex global standards.

Every certification earned by Platinum Industries is a milestone in its pursuit of excellence; from NSF 533 and TUV Nord ISO 9001:2015 certifications that uphold international quality standards to the DSIR (Department of Scientific & Industrial Research) accreditation that celebrates its research-led innovation.

With the Star Export House recognition and a Government of India patent, Platinum Industries continues to reaffirm its leadership in innovation and global trade. Trusted by leading manufacturers both in India and internationally, Platinum Industries offers a diverse portfolio that includes PVC and CPVC additives, CPVC compounds, metal soaps, and lubricants, powering industries ranging from infrastructure to packaging.

Platinum Industries has been featured on the 2025 Barclays Hurun India List of Most Valuable Family Businesses; a testament to the company’s exceptional growth in a remarkably short span through a sharp focus on innovation and strategic expansion. From a family venture to a global leader, Platinum Industries’ journey demonstrates that when values and vision align, success is built to endure for generations.
